About the Role
Rahnuma-FPAP is seeking applications from highly motivated and qualified professionals for the position of Director Planning & Proposal Development at its Head Office. The ideal candidate will provide visionary leadership in program development, strategic planning, and resource mobilization. The incumbent will be responsible for designing innovative, evidence-based programs and securing donor funding to advance R-FPAP’s mission and strategic goals.
Position Requirements
Education
- Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in program planning, proposal development, and resource mobilization within the NGO or development sector.
• Proven record of leading successful proposals and securing funds from major bilateral, multilateral, and private donors.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, program design, and results-based management (RBM).
• Strong understanding of donor policies, compliance frameworks, and reporting requirements.
• Experience in multi-sectoral and multi-partner environments, preferably with national or international NGOs.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in local languages will be an asset.
• Advanced computer literacy, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal development tools.

• Knowledge of national development priorities and global frameworks such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ICPD Programme of Action.
