To strengthen family planning and reproductive health services for Afghan refugees, Dr. Syed Asif Hussain, CEO of Rahnuma-FPAP, held a meeting with the Commissioner of Afghan Refugees in Quetta. During the meeting, the CEO provided an overview of Rahnuma-FPAP’s humanitarian activities across Pakistan, focusing on vulnerable and marginalized populations. In recognition of Rahnuma-FPAP’s contributions and services for Afghan refugees, the Commissioner presented a souvenir to Dr. Asif. Additionally, the CEO met with the UNFPA team to discuss ongoing and upcoming projects, where the UNFPA provincial team highly commended the quality of Rahnuma-FPAP’s family planning and reproductive health services. Dr. Hussain also had an important meeting with the Deputy Program Manager of the Balochistan AIDS Control Program, expressing gratitude for their support in establishing the PPCT OT at Rahnuma-FPAP Saiban Hospital. During the meeting, the DPM acknowledged and appreciated Rahnuma-FPAP’s efforts in HIV/AIDS control, screening, and referrals in Balochistan.
